Weirdtongue is out!

The novella WEIRDTONGUE by DF Lewis is now out.

It is subtitled ‘THE GLISTENBERRY ROMANCE’ in homage to ‘The Glastonbury Romance’ by John Cowper Powys.

This subtitle has its own subtitle: A VISIT TO THE NARRATIVE HOSPITAL

It is also ‘inspired’ by THE WEIRDMONGER story in the now increasingly rare WEIRDMONGER book (Prime 2003). This story was first published in 1988 by the legendary Back Brain Recluse.

The novella also features Blasphemy Fitzworth and Padgett Weggs. And the Glastonbury Festival featuring Goldwrap. And Jane Turpin. Rachel Mildeyes. Nemophilia and Nemophobia. Yellowish Haze amid the Magic Mountain clinics. And much else…

And it is a fiction work unlike any other.  Too much said would be too much given away.

A book that will be in side-pockets for far longer than Catcher.

  1. Based upon earlier incarnations of the text, this should prove to be THE CATCHER IN THE WRY for the 21st century. Congratulations, des!

  2. I now cannot get the notion that Holden Caulfield eventually BECAME Padgett Weggs out of my mind. Deerstalker and all. I feel a weird Salinger/Lewis Quirk Classic a-birthing. *wink wink wink*
