The End of Nemonymous

The End of Nemonymous

posted Friday, 18 June 2010

The last Nemonymous – Nemonymous Ten – Null Immortalis – is about to be delivered…

Exciting times, as I now further branch out into new projects – more real-time reviewing, DFL’s own fiction etc.

The only possible regret about Nemonymous is that some great writers who appear in my favourite sort of fiction anthologies never chose to submit to ‘Nemonymous’ (as far as I know) and were, therefore, never in it, e.g. Thomas Ligotti, Mark Samuels, Ray Russell, Michael Cisco, Simon Kurt Unsworth, Allyson Bird, Simon Strantzas, Tim Lebbon, Quentin S Crisp, Matt Cardin…..

It is my loss.

I feel so privileged to be in this last edition, can’t wait to see the finished product 🙂

I did indeed submit to Nemo, Des. In fact, the story I submitted (under a different title) eventually made it into one of my collections, and you real-time reviewed it quite favourably. I suppose it just didn’t make its full impact on the initial reading…

Thanks, Simon. My memory! I do enjoy a lot of ‘rejected’ stories, btw.

A possible NEMONYMOUS SIX with all the above named authors in it? Please see link immediately above.
