11/22/63

Just started reading Stephen King’s 11/22/63 today 22/11/11.

I honestly hadn’t realised I had just started it – accidentally, in the normal course of my reading affairs – on today’s date, i.e. until a few pages into it!

=============

(5 Dec 11): 11/22/63 – the ultimate masterpiece of ‘cern zoo’ retrocausality?

(12 Dec 11): “We never know which lives we influence, or when, or why. Not until the future eats the present, anyway. We know when it’s too late.” P. 399

(21 Dec 11): “…because the past harmonized but the past was obdurate.” P. 501

(24 Dec 11, Christmas Eve): Was the God Particle born instable?

“…I had somehow travelled back in time […] I  tried to reject the idea at first, but I knew too much about the interveing years, and those things weren’t visions. They were memories. The Rolling Stones…” P. 593

(29 Dec 11):  “When you try to change the past, it bites. It’ll tear your throat out if you give it the chance.” P. 627

“‘Ma’am, I just want to know if the library is still–‘ / “It’s been closed for years and all the books are gone.” P. 703.
