  1. And when I was a boy, that same print hung in the dining room of my grandparents house in Porthleven! Granddad was a fisherman so it always seemed vaguely appropriate. I’ve just done some Googling and discovered that it’s Millais’s The Boyhood of Sir Walter Raleigh (which probably you knew). The blog where I learned this provided the answer as part of an interesting post: Adamant’s Fire: 20 Different Abstracts, 20 Different Illustrations.
