My view on Gender politics in Literature is the same as Barbara Roden’s here:

At my most extreme, however, I’d say there would be no potential hang-ups about Gender, Political Correctness, personality, Nepotism, Personal Grievances, Self-Promotion etc if all writers as a matter of course had their work published *initially* in a nemonymous fashion, then with late-labelling with their by-lines *after* the reviews etc 🙂
